PARTNERED WITH

Hiya there! I'm Dr Nataliey Bitature. I am passionate about Africa's sustainable growth, my aim is to drive change through entrepreneurship, education, innovation, and women's empowerment.

As Chief-of-Staff at The Simba Group, I support over 1000 employees across various sectors, including Hospitality, Telecom, Media & Communications, Renewable Energy, and Real Estate. I collaborate with key partners such as the Mastercard Foundation, the Office of the President of Uganda, UNHCR, UNICEF, and the Ministry of Education. Additionally, as Director of The Bitature Foundation, I oversee charitable donations and initiatives. As a British and Ugandan citizen, my diverse background fuels my commitment to working as a bridge to make a positive impact on the continent.

As Founder and Director of Musana Carts, I empower micro-entrepreneurs with solar-powered street vending units, having raised $150,000 through crowdfunding and secured grants from Ideo.org and the Mastercard Foundation. This initiative has supported 80 street food vendors and earned me recognition from Forbes 30 Under 30, the Gates Foundation, and the World Economic Forum.

I am dedicated to sharing knowledge and inspiring others through digital platforms, providing insights, mentorship, and motivational talks. I've been a guest speaker at events like the United Nations and World Bank forums.

My contributions extend to non-executive board roles at Simba Properties Investment Company, Uganda Property Holdings Ltd, and the Makerere Innovation and Incubation Center. I also advise organisations such as Save the Children Africa Advisory Board, StartHub Africa Ltd, Keele Business School, and Save the Children Women's Network.

Through social media, I've built a community of empowered African entrepreneurs and launched HER Working Women. Originally conceived as an online mentorship platform, this initiative has since evolved into a series of monthly physical events, fostering a sense of community and empowerment among its participants. Presently, the program boasts a membership of over 5000 young African women, all of whom derive significant benefits from their involvement.

Driven by my passion for education, I founded UKETA Learning, an innovative Ugandan platform offering affordable, expert-led courses on essential skills often not taught in school. The practical courses cover public speaking, customer care, and more, with certification and lifetime access.

I also conduct workshops on public speaking, goal setting, and financial literacy for women entrepreneurs.
